DOWNTOWN LA

POR •  Los Angeles é uma cidade com muitas facetas diferentes onde você encontra praticamente tudo. Em termos geográficos a segunda cidade mais populosa dos Estados Unidos oferece entre suas paisagens urbanas, praias, montanhas, grandes areas planas, bairros residenciais enormes e uma área central com uns bons arranha-céus. Foi nesta area central que resolvi fazer uma breve excursão urbana com o intuito de registrar fotograficamente aquela parte da cidade. Não fosse a quase ausência de pessoas nas ruas por ser sábado, alguns lugares até lembram algumas ruas de Nova Iorque. Foi coberto apenas um pequeno trecho, do Grand Central Market,  na 317 South Broadway, entre a Terceira e a Quarta ruas até o Nokia Theater, ao lado do Grammy Museum, na Figueroa, entre a Olympic Boulevard e a Chick Hearn. Além do vários edifícios comerciais, existem muitas lojas, galerias, hotéis, museus, bares e restaurantes. Uma ótima região para quem quer variedade. A experiência serviu pra ter a certeza que outras expedições serão feitas por lá.

ENG • Los Angeles is a city with lots of facets where you find virtually everything. In geographic therms, the second most populous city of the United States offer urban landscapes, beaches, hills, wide flat areas, huge residential neighborhoods and a downtown area with some good skyscrapers. It was in this downtown area that I decided to make a brief urban excursion with the intent of capture in photographs that part of the city. If it wasn't the virtual absence of people on the streets, because it was Saturday, some places even looked like some streets of New York. Just a small section was covered, from the Grand Central Market, on the 317 S. Broadway, between the 3rd St and the 4th St, to the Nokia theater, besides the Grammy Museum, at Figueroa St, between the Olympic Blvd and the Chick Hearn Cl. Besides the various comercial buildings, there are many stores, galleries, hotels, museums, bars and restaurants. A great region for the ones looking for variety. The experience gave me the certainty that other expeditions will take place there.
